Sloppy Johns

Foodie Friday!

This is a Monday through Friday Meal = Quick & Easy

For obvious reasons we do not refer to these as Sloppy Joes, but you get the idea


  • 1 1/4 pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning (I add 2 tablespoons, but don’t recommend doing that if you are feeding children)
  • 1 medium onion cooked (or you can be like me and just add 1-2 tablespoons onion powder)
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can tomato sauce


  • Brown ground beef & drain
  • Add everything but the tomato sauce to the ground beef & mix well
  • Add tomato sauce
  • Simmer 5-10 minutes
